These springs sit within the Drag Spring Retainer (21015). They provide the compressional forces within the drag system. One end of the spring rests inside the small detents which can be seen when looking inside the Drag Spring Retainer. The other end of the spring sits within the accompanying detent in the Drag Knob Nut (21024).

Please note- We recommend our Z-Lube for installation of the springs between the housing and nut. This holds the springs in place, as well as providing extra corrosion resistance on the springs if ever needed.
