This small clutch is housed within the Gear Cover. Our reels utilize two clutches for redundancy- just another reason our reels are built so tough and trusted by so many anglers. No sawing your reel apart if this clutch goes bad- unlike some of our competition.

Please note- While there is only one variation of this clutch, depending on which side you crank on, it will need to be oriented a certain direction. For left-hand crank reels, the metal face of the clutch with the arrow or text faces inward towards the gear. On right-hand crank reels, the Delrin side with no lettering faces inward towards the gear. Pay attention to which way it was installed in your Z if you are unsure.
