The ZX-25 is a surfcasters favorite for sure. It will give you over 35lbs of ultra-smooth drag along with 35.5” retrieve per turn. The ZX-25 spool will allow you 450/30lb braid or 400/15lb mono.

The ZX-25 shares the same rotor as our larges reel (the XZ-27) so if you own one you can easily swap spools and interchange with the other. If own a ZX-20 or a ZX-22, we got you covered there too. Simply remove 3 screws and bump up to our larger rotor. Once the larger rotor is installed you can use your Z for a ZX-25 or a ZX-27. Just like that!
