The ZX-27 is an surfcasters favorite, especially if you’re going after some big game. The ZX-27 will deliver 40lbs+ of ultra-smooth drag along almost 40” retrieve per turn. The ZX-27 spool will allow you 500/50lb braid or 380/20lb mono.

The ZX-27 shares the same rotor as the XZ-25, so if you own one you can easily swap spools and interchange with the other. If own a ZX-20 or a ZX-22, we got you covered there too. Simply remove 3 screws and bump up to our larger rotor. Once the larger rotor is installed you can use your Z for a ZX-25 or a ZX-27. Just like that!
